Positions Available: District 8 Hotline Coordinator: This person is responsible for coordinating the answering of the AA Hotline for District 8. They may delegate and schedule other volunteers to answer the line as needed. Requirements are 6 months of continuous sobriety, the completion of the 12 steps, and a working cell phone. Intergroup will cover any additional cell phone charges if/when those are used for Hotline answering.
3rd Annual Autumn in Stephens Park
The Intergroup Council of West Central Arkansas invites you to the 3rd Annual Autumn in Stephens Park on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 12:00 to 4:30 pm, with a speaker at 1:30 pm. Burgers and brats, buns and condiments provided! Please bring a side dish or dessert. Stephens Park sits just below Blakely Mountain Dam along the shoreline of Lake Hamilton, just outside Mountain Pine on Hwy 227. Y’all come!
2026 District 1 Picnic
Trust God. Clean House. Help Others. The 2026 District 1 Picnic is Sunday, September 27, 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Veterans Park in Fayetteville. Bring a dish, burgers provided. Activities include 50/50, raffle, Grapevine, yard games, a cookie contest with a $50 gift card prize, live music, committee tables, food, fun and fellowship! Donations are needed for raffle items to keep the picnic self-sustaining. Have you got quality items? Can you put together a gift basket? Do you provide a service? Contact Lucia to donate at 407-288-3103 and drop off items by Friday, September 25. Cash, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App will be accepted as payment for raffle tickets on the day of the picnic. OZARKYPAA ZERO campout, August 28 through 30 at Camp Orr in Jasper, Arkansas. Our score cards read "zero"! $35 bring your own tent. $55 cot in a canvas tent (limited availability). $100 bed in a cabin (limited availability). Meals included. Cash only at the camp.
